HONDREAD is a Nigerian-born artist, spiritual storyteller, and cultural visionary who is reshaping African music through the genre he pioneered — Afro Tradition. His sound is a powerful blend of Yoruba chants, ancestral wisdom, and soulful contemporary rhythms, delivering music that heals, teaches, and uplifts.

Rooted deeply in Ifá philosophy and Yoruba cosmology, HONDREAD’s music goes beyond entertainment — it is a spiritual offering. Singing in both Yoruba and English, he bridges generations and cultures, preserving the sacred while pushing creative boundaries.

With each performance, HONDREAD channels the energy of the ancestors, reminding the world that African tradition is not history — it is living, breathing truth.

“I don’t make music for applause. I make music so the ancestors can rest easy, knowing we still remember the path.”
